Memento Composite offers a Composite Assistant that allows you to quickly create the foundation of a composite without manually setting everything up. This powerful tool has a slight learning curve but can save you significant time.
The Composite Assistant helps you create a basic layout that you can easily update, ultimately achieving the final visual you are aiming for in record time.
This article assumes you have already created your new project, set up your page dimensions, and imported your PSPA file.

- A. Select whether you want to generate your composite by Grade or by Teacher.
- B. Choose the visual layout you want for your composite. Options include no text, text in different positions, and even text with images. Please note, this is the default layout. You can later customize the text, logo placement, and size when you return to the Layout Page.
- C. Select a portrait template for your composite. You will have the option to customize it live later or assign a new one.
- D. By default, based on the composite layout you choose, we include a default tag text. You can replace this with your own text. Please note that TAGS will be dynamically replaced with the real grade when you generate the composites.
- E. A default image is provided to help with placement. You can click on Browse for Image to select the image you'd like to use. If you don’t have the image yet, you can always replace it later in the Layout Page.
- F. Click Generate when you are finished.
Your class composite has been created with the options you selected. At this point, you can make any changes you like, such as adjusting rows and columns, modifying the distances between them, fine-tuning your visual by editing the text and images, and adding more elements like logos or additional text.
A. When you’re satisfied with the design, click Generate to create the full class composite.
