Excluding (removing) a portrait from the grid

Occasionally a portrait may be included in your index that should not be added to a composite grid.

For example, your client may have returned notes such as these for a proof:

To eliminate the portrait from inclusion in the composite, launch the project then go to the Index tab.
Search for the portrait - you can use the filter at the top of the Index, or simply look among the portraits to find the person.

Once located, select the portrait, then scroll to the bottom of their information on the right to locate the Exclude category at the bottom of the list.
Switch this value to Yes.

Return to the Editor to regenerate your composite -  a warning will appear to let you know that your layout has changed. 

Regenerate your composite set.

The selected portrait will no longer appear on the resulting composite.
