Image: transparency & opacity

To adjust the general transparency of an image (or shape) on your canvas, select one or more images (or shapes) on your canvas, then click on the General Image Attribute option. This option is available on the Layout Editor, the Page Editor and the Portrait Template Editor. 

Reduce the value of the Transparency slider to lower the overall opacity of the image.

There are other ways to make your images blend into the canvas in more creative ways:

• You can add Canvas Blend, so your image interacts the image or color underneath it
• Use the Gradients option to blend the image into the background from the edge outwards
• Blend your image into a color using the Image Attribute option's Background Fill tool
